Getting Started with TradeAlert.Pro

This guide will walk you through setting up TradeAlert.Pro and receiving your first phone call alert from TradingView. The entire process takes less than 5 minutes.

Before You Start

You'll need:

✓A TradingView account with Pro, Premium, or Ultimate plan (webhooks required)
✓A phone number that can receive calls (mobile or landline)
✓2-3 minutes to complete setup

Step 1: Create Your Account

Visit tradealert.pro/auth/signup and create your free account.

Enter your email address
Create a secure password
Click "Sign Up"

You'll be automatically logged in and redirected to your dashboard. No credit card required for the free tier (3 calls/month).

Step 2: Verify Your Phone Number

After signing up, you'll see a setup guide. Follow these steps to verify your phone:

Click "Add Phone Number" in the setup guide
Enter your phone number (include country code, e.g., +1 for USA)
You'll receive a verification code via SMS within seconds
Enter the 6-digit verification code
Your phone number is now verified

Phone Number Tips

• Use the phone number you want to receive trading alerts on
• Make sure it can receive both SMS and voice calls
• International numbers are supported (verify country code)
• You can change your phone number later in settings

Step 3: Copy Your Webhook URL

After verifying your phone, you'll receive a unique webhook URL. This URL is what TradingView will use to send alerts to you.

In your dashboard, find the "Your Webhook URL" section
Click the "Copy" button to copy your unique URL
Keep this URL safe - it's unique to your account

Your webhook URL looks like this:
https://api.tradealert.pro/webhook/YOUR_UNIQUE_ID

Security Warning

Keep your webhook URL private. Anyone with this URL can trigger alerts to your phone. If you believe your URL has been compromised, regenerate it from your dashboard settings.

Step 4: Create a Test Alert in TradingView

Now let's create your first alert in TradingView to test the connection.

Open TradingView and log in
Open any chart (e.g., BTC/USD, SPY, AAPL)
Click the "Alert" button (clock icon) in the top toolbar
Configure your alert:
- Condition: Choose any condition (e.g., "Crossing" a specific price)
- Alert name: Give it a name (e.g., "Test Alert")
- Message: Enter what you want to hear (e.g., "Bitcoin crossed $50,000")
In the "Notifications" tab:
- Check the "Webhook URL" checkbox
- Paste your TradeAlert.Pro webhook URL
Click "Create"

Step 5: Test Your First Alert

Back in your TradeAlert.Pro dashboard, you can send a test call:

Click the "Send Test Call" button
Your phone will ring within 1-2 seconds
Answer the call to hear the test message
If successful, you'll see the call logged in your dashboard

Success!

You're all set up! Now when your TradingView alerts trigger, you'll receive instant phone calls. The call will read out your custom message so you know exactly what's happening in the market.

Troubleshooting

If you didn't receive the test call:

Check your phone number - Make sure it's entered correctly with country code
Check your phone - Ensure it's turned on and has signal
Check blocked numbers - The call comes from a US number, make sure it's not blocked
Wait 30 seconds - In rare cases, carrier delays can occur
Try SMS backup - Enable SMS backup in settings as a fallback
